Lead Service Line Inventory - Mallet's Bay Water Company
Per Lead and Copper Rule Revisions, municipal water systems are required to inventory every portion of the service lines and categorize them as nonlead, galvanized requiring replacement, or lead material. In order to observe the public side of the service line, MSK Engineers and CWD representatives will be conducting potholing efforts to categorize unknown water service line materials. This will take place in the right-of-way on the public side portion of your water service line. Per Lead and Copper Rule Revisions, municipal water systems are required to inventory every portion of the service lines and categorize them as nonlead, galvanized requiring replacement, or lead material. We are working with MSK Engineers to complete an inventory of the water service lines and will be reaching out to residents via mailing with instructions on how to conduct a self-observation, scheduling an observation, and details on the project.
